Casper was founded in March 2020 by Matthias Laga (1986), Zhong Xu (1985), CEO/co-founder Deliverect, and Peter Van Praet (1988), CEO/founder Bavet. Casper is a chain of hybrid delivery and takeaway restaurants (ghost of dark kitchens) with 10 virtual brands catering to different tastes. The dishes are high quality, interestingly priced and sustainably packaged. Casper is currently active in Belgium in major cities such as Ghent, Antwerp, Leuven, Brussels, Liège and Bruges, working with marketplaces Thuisbezorgd.nl and Uber Eats. Casper is expanding this year to several places in the Netherlands (Den Haag, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Utrecht and Amsterdam) and France (Lille). Luxembourg will follow. By 2024, Casper aims to have 50 international locations.
